Description

I completed this drum on the day of the solar eclipse, that is also during a dark moon, Oct 25th 2022.

The hide is Elk, and I decided to try a new technique when dying it, which has given the face fo the drum some beautiful texture similar to the face of the moon.

The drum was dyed using black walnut and other  natural plant dyes and carries the essence of raven wings, and of course the dark side of the moon.

The size is 13″  which I love as 13 is a sacred number to the goddess and in many different mystery school traditions.
