I often get customers looking for a drum with a specific energies such as wolf, or horse etc… or they wonder if I can make them a drum in a specific colour, like blue to support communication, or green for a plant spirit medicine piece…

I can “Mostly” accommodate these types of pieces and each one is unique to the person wanting it so I thought I would share that this is an option. I will do my best to make sure that the sacred aspect that you would like to work with is a big part of your drum or beater.

I use Elk predominantly for these drums, but I may be able to get Buffalo at certain times, as well as Horse, which is not suitable for dying as its quite dark, but make beautiful drums/ just ask.

Some of the ways to make a drum unique are:

Choosing a specific dye colour such as: red, purple, green, blue, brown etc….

Adding medicine to the drum or the beater, such as feathers, bits of fur or silver charms that represent the animal whose medicine you work with.

The size and shape of drum: from a 14″ and up to a 20″ price will depend on what you choose.

For those who work with plant spirit medicine I can gather herbs or specific flowers for the drum making process {as long as they grow near me and I have access} examples of this are: wild rose, herbs such as peppermint or lemon balm, all sorts of flowers flowers, and I can also add dried herbs and flowers to the inside of the beater such as lavender or sage, to further bring that medicine in…
